Rules/Rewards/Consequences


 

1.  Follow instructions the first time.

2.  Keep hands, feet, and other objects to self.

3.  Be kind and considerate to others.

4.  Use appropriate voices around the building.

5.  Keep classrooms, playground, restrooms, and cafeteria clean.  

 

 

 

Rewards

1.Each day a piece of “money” is passed out to each student who did not pull a card the previous day.  This "money" can be used to purchase treasures, treats, and privileges. 

 $5.00=Treat

 $10.00=Lunch with Teacher in Space Place.

 $12.00=Treasure

 $15.00=Teacher will treat you to a drink from the machine.    You can drink it in class.

2.If name is still on the Good Behavior List at the end of the week, the student will be able to choose a treasure.

3.When a student is caught in a random act of kindness, he/she will be given a slip of paper to sign and put in the fish bowl. Three slips will be drawn at the end of the week and those students will choose a special privilege.

 

 

 

 

Consequences

Students will be asked to pull a card for breaking a rule.

Green card pulled (BLUE showing) = take name off Good Behavior List

Blue card pulled (YELLOW showing) = lose 5 minutes of recess

Yellow card pulled (ORANGE showing) = lose 10 minutes of recess

Orange card pulled (RED showing) = lose entire recess and a note sent home to parents.

Red pulled - See Principal.

 

M.O.P./A.A.A.A. Report

Occasionally a student will behave in a way that could hurt him/herself, others, or property.  Certain behaviors require immediate reflection on the student's part.  In this case, a report will be sent home to be completed by the student and signed by the parent.
