My name is Sarah Finkel. I was born and reared in Shelbyville.  I have one sister and two brothers.  I went to Purdue University in West Lafayette , Indiana for my B. S. in Elementary Education, with an endorsement in Kindergarten Education.  I then earned my M.A. from IUPUI in Elementary Education.  I have taught kindergarten, first grade and preschool during my career.  Besides teaching at Coulston Elementary, I also taught at Mt. Vernon Elementary when I first graduated from Purdue.  I am married and have a wonderful little girl, Elizabeth.  As a family, we love music, travel and being outside.
