Who is My Teacher? |

|
An Autobiography of Mrs. Heidenreich My name is Mrs. Heidenreich. There are many interesting things about me that I am sure you would like to know. I hope this autobiography helps to answer some of your questions about me.
I was born in a small town in Illinois called Watseka.
Watseka is about 20 miles from the even smaller town where I grew
up. I grew up on a farm
outside of the town of Claytonville, Illinois.
My parents still live there. My
dad was a farmer and my mom was a stay at home mom.
When I was a kid, I use to ride my bike and explore many different
places near my home. I like
to visit my parents because it is very quiet and peaceful.
I now have a husband that works at Shelbyville High School, a
daughter named Hannah who is in fourth grade, and a son named Jonathon who
is in second grade.
I went to college at Butler University.
I decided to become a teacher because I have always loved school
and I liked working with children. I
taught the past 7 years at a school in Indianapolis called St. Roch.
At St. Roch, I taught 3rd grade.
My favorite subject to teach is reading and writing.
When I am at home and have nothing to do, I really enjoy reading.
Over the summer I read a lot of books!
I read the new Harry Potter book.
I usually read mystery books.
I also like to make desserts.
I love anything chocolate! I
also like to scrapbook, watch movies, and I just started to play the
piano. One thing I don’t
like to do is sit. I like to
be doing something. I don’t
really like to clean but I like a clean house so I do clean, a lot I might
add!
In 25 years or so when I retire, I will spend a lot of time with my
family. By then, I should
have grandchildren and I will want to play with them a lot.
I would love to travel and see places that I have never seen
before. I will probably read
and maybe catch up on my scrapbooking!
I hope that this was valuable to you.
There is so much more that I could tell you about myself.
Maybe you thought of things you would like to ask me.
I am sure that you will know me quite well by the end of our school
year together.
