Dear Parents,

We had a great time at the Fire Station.  We were able to tour the newest building and see everything on the fire truck!  

I would also like to wish all of the mothers a HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

      On Tuesday, we will be going to the zoo.  Please make sure that your child is dressed for the weather that day. 

      I sent home Friday Folders with your child.  Please sign and send back the return to school papers on Monday.  Your child’s homework is in the Friday folder.  The homework is to be turned in no later than Friday, May 16.  If you would like to turn it in before Friday, you may do so.  I sent home the book I Can See It.  When your child has read this to you, place your initials on the book and send it back.  I will then have your child read it to me.  This week will be the last week for Friday folders. 

The star student this week is Alexa Aguilar for motivation.  Congratulations Alexa!!  We are proud of you!  

       The greatest gift you can give your child is to read to him/her.
