Mrs. Moeller's Newsletter

Dear Parents,

I am so proud of our students.  Almost everyone is in the 100 Club!  This is achieved by being able to write and count orally to 100.  The children are very proud of this achievement too.

We had a good turn out on Wednesday night for our parent meeting.  Thank you for coming.  I hope you were able to get some ideas to help your kindergartener thru the year.

We have been learning about the letters Tt and Ii.

If anyone did not sign up and you wish to help with our class parties for the year, you may contact our room mothers, Betty Vore-AM class and Melissa Jeffries-PM class.  Thank you.  The room mothers will contact you to help with one of the parties for the year.

Next week, we will learn about the letter Nn.  We will also add the “To” to our word list.  We will begin our unit on Food next week.  We will go to Kroger grocery on Thursday, 11-20 to learn about different foods.  This should be fun!

The children enjoy a mock election last Monday.  They voted thru the Scholastic News on the computers.  It was fun to hear their responses to the 2 candidates.

We also enjoyed Grandparents Day on Thursday last week.  Thanks to all who were able to come.

Our Star Students for the week are:  Aidan Tong for citizenship and Alayna Plunkett for enthusiasm.  Good job!

     Have a great week.

                             Sincerely,

                             Mrs. Moeller
