Meet Miss Essex

     I have lived in Shelby County all of my life. I graduated from Morristown Jr. Sr. High School in the spring of 2003 and began studying at Ball State University in the fall. In the fall of 2006, I completed my student teaching assignment here at Coulston Elementary in second grade with Miss Micka French. I graduated on May 5, 2007 from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Concentration in Mathematics.  During my student teaching semester, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Coulston. I learned so much from all of the dedicated staff members, parents/guardians, and students. Because of my valuable experiences that I had during my student teaching experience, I am thrilled to begin my first year of teaching at Coulston Elementary.

     In my time away from school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have an older brother and a three-year-old niece, Sarah. I also have a cat named Sam and a goldfish named Joey.
