The Statement of Vision for the SHS Alumni Hall of Fame:
"The Shelbyville High School Alumni Hall of Fame
exists to recognize exemplary Shelbyville High
School graduates who contribute significantly
to their communities and/or professions,
who achieve academic or professional
excellence, and who positively promote
Shelbyville Central Schools."
Criteria to be considered:
Graduate of Shelbyville High School
Significant contribution to community, society, and/or profession
Positively promotes Shelbyville Central Schools
Special achievements in the nominee's area of specialization
Honors, awards, or other recognition received on local, regional, national, and/or international levels
Nominations may be made by alumni, parents, current Shelbyville students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community members. Posthumous nominations are accepted. Nomination packets are kept on file for a period of three (3) years. Recipients are honored at a special reception before the annual May Festival on the first Thursday of May at Shelbyville High School . The application process for nominations to the 2009-10 SHS Alumni Hall of Fame are available.
