Ms. Hoeflinger attended Centerville High School in Indiana and then attended Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. Ms. Hoeflinger competed in track and cross country at Taylor University and studied abroad at the Lithuanian Christian College in Klaipeda, Lithuania. While in Lithuania she had the opportunity to work in an orphanage and travel to thirteen different countries. Upon graduation, Ms. Hoeflinger began her teaching career at South Decatur High School in Greensburg, Indiana, where she taught social studies. She received her masters of school counseling from Butler University. Ms. Hoeflinger's hobbies include traveling, running, backpacking, painting, and kayaking. She coaches Cross Country at SHS. Ms. Hoeflinger's favorite thing about working in education is the relationships she has been able to build with students.
