AR Extra Credit

Students may earn 10 extra credit points in one class, each nine weeks by reading Accelerated Reader books and passing the computerized quiz with an 85% or better.

Here is how it works:

  1. The student must earn 10 points with have an 85% average to earn 10 extra credit points .
  2. The student may have to read more than one book to achieve this goal.
  3. A sticker on the spine of each book identifies AR books (don't rely on the points listed on the inside cover info only ).
  4. The point levels are listed on the inside of the front cover of each AR title.
  5. Print your results and give them to Mrs. Sowder.
  6. Once the student has accumulated 10 points with an 85% average his/her extra credit will be passed onto the teacher.
  7. AP courses will NOT accept this extra credit.

REMEMBER , extra credit will count only one time each nine weeks and in only one class.

DEADLINE: One week before quarter ends or two weeks before the semester ends
