Loper Elementary

Parent Series

Loper is pleased to announce a new parent program that targets issues facing today’s parents. The Parent Series will consist of four evening programs and will be facilitated by Dr. Allison

McGinley, Clinical Psychologist with Riley Child Development Center of Indianapolis. Programs will begin at 6:30 PM and babysitting will be available. Each program will be offered to the first twenty-five people who respond by returning the bottom portion of this paper. You may attend one or all four. There is no fee. You will be notified if you are one of the first twenty-five people to respond and a reminder will be sent before each presentation. Please let us know if other topics would be of importance to you - we care about our families at Loper! Here are the themes for our first Parent Series:

Session I: December 5th – Holiday Stress

In the age of blended and single parent families, the holidays might be stressful for some children. This program addresses ways families can help.

Session II: January 16th – S.O.S. for Parents and Kids: The Homework Solution

Do frustrations run high at your house during homework time? This program provides ways you can help your child. Special emphasis will focus on ADHD and LD learning styles.
