Attendance Reporting

1. Parents must call the school at 392-2551 EXT 3991 to notify the school on the day of the absence.

These calls can be made twenty-four hours a day and left on the school’s voice mail. If no call is received by 9:00 AM, a school representative will call all numbers listed in the computer system. If a number changes throughout the year, parents need to contact the school.

Parents who have no phone should communicate by a handwritten note, which must accompany the student upon his/her return to school.
Students have twenty-four hours upon returning to school to change an unexcused absence to an excused absence.

2. At the time of calling the school, state the reason for the absence. Once the school is notified, a decision is made
regarding the absence type.
