Mission Statement
Shelbyville Middle School Mission Statement
| The administration, faculty, and staff of Shelbyville Middle School in partnership with students, parents, and community are committed to providing a caring and positive atmosphere which strives to enhance each student's self-image. Through our curriculum, we address the unique needs of the middle school student and challenge all students to work to their full academic, physical, creative, and social potential and recognize them for doing so. Students are taught and encouraged to develop the skills necessary to be successful at higher levels of education and to become responsible and productive citizens in an ever-changing democratic society. |
