...the NWEA national average of third graders reading at or above grade level is at the 50th percentile?  In the spring of 2006, 76% of third grade students at Shelbyville Central Schools were reading at or above grade level!  Reading is the foundation for all other skills essential for learning.  Encourage your child to read 20 minutes a day!

...over half of the Shelbyville Middle School student body is involved in the music program?

...the students and faculty at Loper Elementary School are reaching higher together?  Loper Elementary School has received the category of Exemplary Progress for school improvement and performance.  Way to go Loper Bulldogs!
