GOLDEN APPLE OUTSTANDING
EDUCATOR AWARD
Mr. Denny
Ramsey, Shelbyville Middle School Principal, was the recipient
of the Golden Apple Outstanding Educator Award at the Shelby
County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner & Awards Banquet
that was held on February 21, 2006 at the Indiana
Downs. The
Golden Apple Outstanding Teacher Award is based on the positive
impact a Shelby County Educator has had on a student or students
in one of the Public and Parochial City and County school
systems. 
Denny
and DeLane Ramsey with their daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Kris Soller Mr.
Ramsey has been affiliated with the Shelbyville Central School
System for 35 years. He began his career with Shelbyville
Central Schools as a teacher at Marion Township and was the Principal of Pearson, Coulston, and Loper Elementary
Schools. Mr. Ramsey has served as the Principal of Shelbyville
Middle School since the fall of 1995.
