Shelbyville Central Schools Peer Model Preschool Program
Shelbyville Central Schools
(SCS) Peer Model Preschool Program provides a rich environment to the beginning steps of your child's first educational experience. The classroom is designed to serve children with special needs and children from the community (peer models). Parents should expect the Peer Model program to be enriched with activities focused in language and pre-readiness development, gross motor and fine motor skills, art and music, along with field trip opportunities. The Indiana State Preschool Standards provide the foundation for this program.
Parents who are interested in enrolling their child as a peer model should review the attached Peer Model Program Information as well as complete and submit the Peer Model Application to

Schools Administration Office at 392-2505. Parents are encouraged to notify the appropriate elementary school building principal at Coulston, Hendricks/SHS, or Loper of their interest in enrolling their child as a peer model in the
SCS Preschool Program.
